Welcome to G1 Exam Pro, developed by AkylTech. This Privacy Policy is effective as of June 17, 2026 and covers both the G1 Exam Pro mobile app and this website (g1exampro.ca). By using either, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We and our third-party partners collect information depending on how you use G1 Exam Pro:

• Account information: your email address and authentication provider, collected via Firebase Authentication when you create an account on this website.
• Usage data: screens visited, tests started, and questions answered, collected via Firebase Analytics.
• Device information: device model, operating system, and app version, collected via Firebase Analytics and Sentry (mobile app only).
• Crash and error reports: stack traces and device state at the time of a crash, collected via Sentry (mobile app only).
• Purchase and subscription data: transaction history and subscription status, processed by RevenueCat (mobile app) or Stripe (this website).
• Advertising identifiers: your device's advertising ID may be collected by Google AdMob to serve ads (mobile app only; this website does not show ads).

3. Third-Party Services

G1 Exam Pro uses the following third-party services that may collect data subject to their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics) — accounts and usage analytics (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
• Stripe — payment processing for web subscriptions (stripe.com/privacy)
• Sentry — crash reporting, mobile app only (sentry.io/privacy)
• RevenueCat — subscription management, mobile app only (revenuecat.com/privacy)
• Google AdMob — in-app advertising, mobile app only (policies.google.com/privacy)

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Create and secure your account, and keep your practice test progress in sync across devices.
• Understand how people use G1 Exam Pro and improve the learning experience.
• Process and verify Premium subscription purchases, on web and mobile.
• Diagnose and fix crashes and technical issues in the mobile app.
• Display advertisements to support the free version of the mobile app.
• Comply with legal obligations.

5. Accounts and Subscriptions

Creating an account on this website is optional for Test 1, but required to unlock Premium (Tests 2–10). Your account is identified by your email address and a unique user ID stored in Firebase. Premium status is recorded against your account after a successful payment through Stripe and is not shared with anyone outside the services listed in Section 3.

6. Advertising

The G1 Exam Pro mobile app displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to show relevant ads. On iOS, we request permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing your IDFA. You may opt out of personalised ads through your device settings. This website (g1exampro.ca) does not display third-party ads.

7. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the service providers listed in Section 3 to the extent necessary to operate the app and website. These providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

8. Data Security & Retention

We use encrypted data transmission and Firebase's access controls to protect your account information. Analytics data is retained per Firebase's default retention settings. Payment records are retained by Stripe or RevenueCat as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for dispute resolution. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting support@akyltech.com.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable law (including GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA) to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to certain processing, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@akyltech.com.

10. Children's Privacy

G1 Exam Pro is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@akyltech.com and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
